Provide design advice, review and liaison for artificial lighting design, emergency lighting and exit signs, initial design calculations and determine required lux levels, drafting lighting layouts & design power loads, building approval certification for the design, coordinate services design and coordination of documentation with Section J and Part F4 compliance

This service involves the design and documentation of hydraulic & fire safety services.
This service involves the design and documentation of acoustic performance. It can be coordinated with the thermal and energy efficiency performance assessment.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling
A CFD model is a computer simulation that can be used to model air flow through a given environment. Sustainability House would undertake a CFD model for improving the design of mechanical and HVAC services. Typically a report could outline:
- Air velocity and temperature gradients
- Provide age of air, mean radiant temperature and operative temperature
- Assist in the design of internal building layouts of diffusers, staff areas, radiators and openings
- Assess air change effectiveness (Green Star)
- Assist in the design of passive or natural ventilation systems
- Measure local wind velocity
