ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY HOUSE

Sustainability House, incorporating House Energy Rating, is a market leader in energy assessment for commercial and residential buildings. We have a wealth of experience in helping our clients create more environmentally sustainable buildings.

Sustainability House was started by Jim Woolcock in 2003. Jim has nearly 20 years experience in the construction industry, as well as being an accredited member of the Association of Building Sustainability Assessors (ABSA).

When Jim created the business, it was known as House Energy Rating. We've since grown our range of services significantly, and are now known as Sustainability House.

 

Experience

• Our diverse team of consultants is comprised of building designers, environmental engineers and builders with expertise in building design, energy efficiency, thermal modelling and shading analysis.

 

Independence

• Sustainability House is not affiliated with any building product or method and we are completely independent from builders, manufacturers and energy companies.

 

Accreditation
Sustainability House is accredited to provide:

• BCA thermal performance assessments for all parts of Australia using FirstRate5, AccuRate and BERS Pro;
• Thermal Comfort Simulation for BASIX in New South Wales and complete BASIX Reports;
• Deemed-To-Satisfy reports for all parts of Australia, and;
• Section J reports for all parts of Australia.
