Jim Woolcock - Director BSc, GradDipBusEnt
Jim is the business principal, and has over 20 years’ experience in the building industry; 10 years building commercial and industrial buildings as a site supervisor and 10 years in building simulation. This building construction and building simulation experience is backed by thermodynamic theory from a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Adelaide, with a major in physics and mathematics.
Jim is an experienced consultant capable of giving detailed advice on all building matters.
Jamie Golley-Bogaerts - Chief Executive Officer
Jamie commenced employment with Sustainability House in 2010 following an extensive career in the IT Service Management industry. Jamie’s effective leadership and management qualities, backed by proven results advanced his employment with Sustainability House from Inside Sales Representative to Business Manager and most recently Chief Executive Officer.
Jamie’s interest in sustainable discipline and design allowed him to participate in the Federal Government Home Sustainability Assessment Scheme.
Hugo Lewis – Senior ESD Consultant B.Eng, Masters in Energy Systems
Hugo has over ten years of experience in HVAC design and Sustainable Building Design. He has worked on the design of a number of high performance sustainable buildings including a Six Star Office As-Built rating at 200 Victoria St in Melbourne and a Six Star Education Design rating for the Monash University New Horizons project in Melbourne. He has extensive experience in the design of low energy HVAC systems including displacement ventilation, underfloor air distribution and active mass cooling. He also has experience with on-site renewables as well as co-generation and tri-generation.
Josh Mollison – Senior ESD Consultant B.PropDev, DipPM, Green Star Associate
With a degree in Business Property & Sustainable Urban Development, Josh has a keen interest in sustainable design. Josh has 6 years’ experience in ESD Consulting ranging from passive building design principles, building infiltration testing, regulatory compliance and holistic ESD voluntary rating tools (Green Star, LEED). Over the past 2 years Josh was been working cohesively with industry stakeholders on building air infiltration and thermodynamics. In conjunction with the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Association of Australia (AIVAA), Josh is part of the driving force behind the air infiltration proposal for change to the National Construction Code (NCC).
Darren Harris – ESD Consultant B.Des
An experienced consultant in both residential and commercial building compliance, Darren has a keen interest in sustainable practices and design. A degree qualified industrial designer & architectural drafter, he has over 10 years experience training and working in building design, technology and drafting practices. A certified Business Sustainability Assessor, experienced Home Sustainability Assessor and an active member of the Alternative Technology Association, he has a well-rounded and practical knowledge of environmentally sustainable building design.
Pia Lepore – Productivity Manager BArch, BdesSt
Pia commenced work with Sustainability House in 2006 after completing a Bachelor of Architecture. Pia is the Productivity Manager and technical expert, responsible for quality assurance. She has worked on a wide range of projects from single project homes to large one-off architecturally designed buildings, multi-storey residential apartment buildings, and numerous research and development projects for manufacturers and builders. Pia has extensive experience in providing training in the use of NatHERS software, including courses at the University of Adelaide
Mark Clayton - Business Development/Sales Manager
With a Business degree and expertise in growing and developing businesses in the Financial Services sector and Building industry, Mark established and heads up Sustainability House sales. With a good understanding of supply chain management and delivery he looks to add value to our clients through tailored service agreements. Marks main focus is on building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities to grow and diversify Sustainability House.
Aida Leon – Senior ESD Consultant
Aida is an Architect with a Master in Sustainable Design. During her tenure with Sustainability House Aida has established and expanded the Sustainability House services in Perth, WA. She has been responsible for engaging with new clients and maintaining existing relationships, helping our clients identify and understand energy efficiency requirements, thermal performance, passive design whilst providing advice, design guidance and solutions for residential and commercial projects.
Jeremy Miller - Senior ESD Consultant BA, MURP
Jeremy is an Urban Planner working at the building permit end of the planning process with Sustainability House. His main professional focus is working with builders and developers in improving their energy efficiency, understanding legislative and statutory requirements and developing understanding of the factors that contribute to the thermal performance of buildings. This role also involves advocacy and research with Government both at a State and Federal level, delivering training and seminars.
Dhvanit Shah - Senior ESD Consultant
Dhvanit has over 10 years of strong ESD experience and has been known in the industry for innovative and practical ESD solutions. He undertakes the energy efficiency analysis, sustainability life cycle analysis and evaluates the resulting options to provide recommendations to clients. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical engineering Degree and Masters of Engineering Management degree.
